The idea
Competitive Intelligence Layer
A private scouting report on the players you face — and on yourself. Who you struggle with and why, the leak that keeps showing up, the mental patterns that decide hill-hill games.
Private beta · iOS now, Android next
Every competitive player knows the feeling: you lose a close one, you know exactly why in the moment — and a week later, across from the same opponent, it's gone.
What it is
Pool Match Journal is built to keep it. In about a minute right after a match, you capture what happened — the score, the pattern that cost you a rack, the safe you couldn't answer — and, just as much, the mental side: what you rushed, what rattled you, what you want to lock in next time.
It's phone-first and built for tired post-match hands, so dictation and a few taps are all it takes.
The point isn't logging for its own sake. Over a season, your matches become a Competitive Intelligence Layer — a private scouting report on the players you face and, honestly, on yourself. Who you struggle with and why. The leak that keeps showing up. The mental patterns that decide hill-hill games.
And once you've logged enough matches, that layer gets AI-Driven — surfacing the trends and blind spots you'd never catch on your own.
Capture happens on the phone; a companion website is coming so you can browse the whole picture on a bigger screen. Right now it's in private beta while I put it through a real league season — iOS today, Android close behind.
